Photographing a wedding at Abbazia del Pero means stepping into a unique atmosphere, where history and romance merge in a location full of timeless charm. I had the privilege of capturing the special day of Stefania and Stephen, a couple from London who brought friends and family from all over the world to Monastier di Treviso. A meeting of cultures, smiles, and traditions that made their wedding an unforgettable celebration.

Following tradition, the couple chose to prepare separately. In the center of Treviso, Stefania was accompanied by her mother, who helped her into an elegant Sposa d’Este dress, while her makeup was done by artist Lisa Semenzato. Meanwhile, in a livelier atmosphere, Stephen followed a ritual dear to his Greek heritage: his father adjusted his tie and his father-in-law helped with his cufflinks, amidst smiles and jokes that eased any tension.

The most awaited moment took place in the enchanting Tinazzara of Abbazia del Pero, beautifully arranged by Andrea of Fioreria Daniela. The walls, rich with history, and the scent of the past welcomed the couple in a warm embrace, while the cloudy sky filtered a soft, cinematic light. After exchanging vows and rings, a long, romantic kiss marked the beginning of their new life together.

The reception was held in the Romanesque cloister of the Abbey, where Dario Ricevimenti prepared a lavish buffet. Candlelight created an intimate and cozy atmosphere, while the rain outside painted playful patterns of light, perfect for capturing photographs full of charm. The weather didn’t stop the celebration; on the contrary, the chiaroscuro of the clouds gave the photos a poetic aura, turning each shot into a timeless memory.

When the rain gave a break, the couple went outside for the cake cutting: an elegant and refined creation by Manuela of Ibrido di Tea. The celebration continued with the breaking of the plate, a Greek tradition for good luck, and the bouquet toss, accompanied by applause and smiles. The evening ended with dancing, live music, and a DJ set that kept everyone on their feet until late at night.

A wedding at Abbazia del Pero is an experience that combines historical charm, elegance and authenticity, all the best guys, thank you!
