Today, I’m excited to share the story of Camilla and Nicola’s wedding at Villa Selvatico, a regal venue set in a prime location on the Euganean Hills.
At Nicola’s place, there’s a buzz of activity: the best men, his sister, and his dad are all busy with last-minute preparations. But the most attentive gaze is that of little Cecilia, who watches everything with wide-eyed wonder. When it’s time for Cecilia to put on her dress, it’s her dad who helps her. I believe the moments when Nicola dresses his little girl will remain among the most cherished memories, not only for the groom but for all of us who were there.
After capturing the final shots, I fly over to Camilla, who is already engaged in her makeup session with her MUA, Serena Fornasiero. The atmosphere here is more intimate, with only her mother and maid of honor present, both attentive and caring as they help Camilla into her stunning gown, adorned with roses on the bodice and delicate wings cascading from her shoulders to the long, pure white train.
The arrival at the church sees guests in eager anticipation: the long-awaited day is about to become a reality. In their home, in their family, the couple intertwines their hands and gazes into each other’s eyes, pledging eternal love before the eyes of faith. After the ceremony, the celebration begins with exhilaration: rice tossing, applause, and a playful wheelbarrow ride for the bride—fantastic!
Now it’s time to continue the celebration at Villa Selvatico, where all the guests are greeted by the Marchioro Catering team with a refined welcome drink and a buffet filled with delightful treats, perfectly in line with the day’s elegance. The floral arrangements, skillfully crafted by Twins in Bloom, adorned the room and the cake-cutting ceremony, adding a touch of sophistication to every corner. From the aperitif to the lunch, the atmosphere was further enhanced by the live performance of Estate Wedding Music, whose delicate melodies accompanied every moment of the reception, creating a perfect backdrop for this special day, full of lively moments: toasts, laughter, and singing.
The cake-cutting in front of the staircase is pure magic. Perhaps a metaphor for married life itself: challenging, yes, but a glance around reveals the beauty that surrounds you.
